The Rhode Island Society of Professional Engineers (RISPE) is an organization representing over 150 individual members from all engineering disciplines and practices. We represent civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical and fire control engineers who practice in industry, construction, private practice, education and government. RISPE is a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) serving our members and the people of Rhode Island since 1934. The mission of NSPE and RISPE is to promote the ethical and competent practice of engineering, to advocate licensure, and to enhance the professional, social and economic development and well-being of our members.
